Allen A. Hemmat

Allen A. Hemmat  现为北京大学客座教授，全球修辞学会理事。

Allen A. Hemmat has a multidisciplinary background and is the author/co-author of four volumes of poetry translations and other material and articles in the fields of language. After completing his undergraduate study in physics and graduate study in business, he received an MS degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the Johns Hopkins University and PhD in Communication from the University of South Florida. He has taught communication courses for Central Michigan University, worked for IBM and other multinational corporations, has conducted research for National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). His interests include hermeneutics, inter-cultural communication, and translation studies.
