第三届国际修辞传播学研讨会筹备工作进展顺利 

　　“第三届国际修辞传播学研讨会”将于 2014年11月7-9日在华中师范大学召开，会议由华中师范大学外国语学院承办。
　　 目前筹备工作进展顺利，我们有幸邀请到如下国际知名学者做大会发言：

2014年第三届国际修辞传播学研讨会２号通知

　为推动修辞学、新闻传播学、语言学、写作学等学科的发展和建设，增进上述相邻学科领域学者之间的对话，增进国际学术交流与合作，全球修辞学会、国际修辞传播学会拟于2014年11月7-9日在华中师范大学召开第三届国际修辞传播学研讨会，会议由华中师范大学外国语学院承办。届时将有中国、美国、法国、南非、韩国、日本等国家的国际著名学者与会。

Call for Papers

　　The Third International Symposium on Communication Studies of Rhetoric
In order to promote the teaching and research on rhetoric, communication, linguistics and composition, to strengthen academic exchange and co-operation among scholars of these fields and other neighboring disciplines, the Third International Symposium on Communication Studies of Rhetoric will be held at Central China Normal University in Wuhan, China on November 7th to 9th, 2014. Scholars, researchers and teachers are warmly welcome to attend this conference. The information of the symposium is as follows: 
　　1. Name of the Symposium: The Third International Symposium on Communication Studies of Rhetoric
　　2. Sponsor: The Global Rhetoric Society, International Society of Communication Studies of Rhetoric

　　　The theme of the conference is "Studies on rhetoric and composition in global context ". Papers addressing this theme are particularly encouraged. The sub-themes are as follows: 
（1）Comparative rhetoric and contrastive rhetoric;（2）Second language writing and rhetoric;（3）Rhetoric in web-news transmission and writing;（4）Rhetoric in forensic language；（5）Government discourse and communication；（6）Rhetoric in translation study；（7）Rhetoric and communication of new media;（8）Traditional rhetoric and rhetoric history;（9）Communication studies of public rhetoric, regional rhetoric and global rhetoric;（10）Studies of new rhetorical phenomena and new genres 
　　7. Official Languages of the Forum: Chinese and English. 
　　8. Dates for Submitting Abstracts and Full-text Papers: 
　　　The dead-line for abstracts in Chinese (300 characters maximum) or English (350 words maximum) is May 31, 2014. Please send your abstracts to rhetcomp@163.com before this date. The notification of acceptance will be sent to you before July 31, 2014. The dead-line for full-text papers is August 31, 2014. Please send your completed full papers to the same email address. 
The registration fee is RMB 900 (including all conference sessions, morning and afternoon teas, meals and excursion). It should be paid on the registration day November 7th.There’s no arrangement for station picking-up and seeing-off sections in this conference. The expenses of accommodation and business trip will be paid by participants or be reimbursed by participants’ organizations. Accommodation will be reserved by the organizing committee.
