Call for papers:Media Order and Civilization Conference & The Second International Conference on Ethics and Laws of Communication & Journalism

With the sincere hope to promote teaching and research, to strengthen academic exchange and co-operation on communication, journalism, rhetoric and ethics studies and other neighboring disciplines, the Second International Conference on Ethics and Laws of Communication & Journalism will be hosted by Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages at Shaoxing city of Zhejiang province in China on the date April 20th to 24th, 2015. National and international researchers and scholars in the field of communication and journalism are warmly welcomed. The conference information specifies as following:

6. The Main Theme and Sub-Themes:

   The main theme is “Media Order and Media civilization- an interdisciplinary perspective”. Sub-Themes are as the following: Ⅰ. Media order and media civilization (1) History of media and human civilization (2) Media dissimilation in digital era (3) System and order of media in global communication (4) System and policy of media (5) The order of cross-culture communication Ⅱ. Ethics and laws of media (1) Culture construction of national media and media ethics (2) Media ethics and ethical construction of citizens (3) Media supervision, judiciary justice and social justice (4) Media law in a digital environment (5) Comparative studies on ethics and laws of media Ⅲ. Studies on visual communication (1) History and trend of visual communication (2) Ethics and laws of visual communication (3) Problems and challenges in visual communication time (4) Theory and practice of visual communication (5) Studies on visual rhetoric Ⅳ. Order of language communication, rhetoric and language culture (1) Rule and order of rhetoric: time, space and culture (2) Ethics of global language communication (3) Civilization of network language (4) Order of network language communication (5) Collision among international language education, culture and civilization Ⅴ. Global discourse, national discourse, national narration, national value communication and other neighboring disciplines
　　
7. Conference includes Keynote Speech, forum discussion and group seminar. Working Languages is both Chinese and English.
　　
8. Submitting Date (including abstracts and Full-text):

　　The dead-line for Chinese and English abstracts (300 characters maximum) is before January 15th, 2015. The dead-line for full-text papers is before March 30th, 2015. Submitting mailbox is rhetoric2008@163.com and hhx1176@163.com. Entitle your mail with the title “Media Order and Civilization Conference”. Published paper is not acceptable. For sake of limited quota, best qualification would be selected. The formal notification will be informed before January 15th, 2015.
　　
9. Registration fee:

      120 US dollars (including meals, excursion and local traffic fees; half discount for student participant). It should be paid on the registering date April 20th, 2015. There would be no arrangement for station picking-up and seeing-off sections. The accommodation fee and the allowance for this business trip will be on participants or be reimbursed by participants’ organizations. Accommodation will reserved by the organizing committee.
