Calling for Papers: The Fourth Biennial Conference of the Chinese Rhetoric Society of the World & International Conference on Rhetorics

   “The Fourth Biennial Conference of the Chinese Rhetoric Society of the World & International Conference on Rhetorics” will be held in Seoul National University, in Korea in the fall of 2014. The conference aims to promote the development of international rhetoric studies, particularly the international Chinese rhetoric, to explore the international cultural exchange in the global context and the research trend of international rhetoric, communication, translation, foreign language pedagogy and discourse studies, to strengthen the academic exchanges and co-operations among scholars of these fields and other neighboring disciplines. Scholars, researchers and teachers are warmly welcome to attend this conference. The information of the symposium is as follows:

　　　The sub-themes are as follows: 1. New trends of International Rhetoric Studies. 2. International peace and rhetorical communication. 3. Rhetoric Studies in multiple culture. 4. National rhetoric studies. History, currents and trends of rhetoric studies in Asia. 6. Net rhetoric and world order. 7. Studies on international rhetoric teaching. 8. Rhetoric research from vision of linguistic, discourse, literature, journalism, communication, translation, philosophy and foreign language teaching and etc. 
　　7. Dates for Submitting Proposal, Panel Proposal and Full-text Papers: 
　　　The deadline for proposal and panel proposal is March 30th, 2014. The deadline for full-text papers is August 15th, 2014. Please send your proposals, panel proposals (with a maximum of 300 characters) and full papers to worldrhetoric@163.com. After the meeting, the distinguished papers will be selected and incorporated into the journal of The Chinese Rhetoric Society of the World. Please don’t post the submitted paper to other publications. If you do want to post it elsewhere, please give notice in advance. The assembly don’t accept the papers published in other journals and conferences.
　　8. Dates of relevant notice:
　　　The acceptance of proposal will be sent to you before April 15th, 2014. The official invitation of the Conference will be sent to you before June 15th, 2014. 
　　9. The registration fee: 120 US Dollars or 10, 0000 Korean won.
　　　Accommodation will be arranged by the organizing committee. The expenses of accommodation, meals and business trip will be paid by participants or be reimbursed by participants’ institutions.
